Many of you have had the pleasure of working with our very own Shirley Robinson, from our Customer Support team. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Shirley joined the karma team in July of 2012 and has been instrumental in the development of many internal projects. In her own words, “Figuring out and solving a problem – if there is a problem that seems impossible, I can’t stop with it. It will annoy me beyond belief until it is solved.” This outlook is a big reason why her customer service skills are second to none!
Prior to joining karma, Shirley worked for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in Research and Development, as well as at Milwaukee Auto Auction (part of Cox Enterprise) as their IT person. When she’s not at work, Shirley can be found watching true crime stories on TV, playing games, on the computer checking Facebook or learning something new, or playing with her cats, Spot and Stormy.
Another of Shirley’s hobbies is reading. “If it has words, I read it. For example, when taking a shower, I read the shampoo bottle!” She also enjoys a good, cheesy horror movie from time to time as well as Mel Brooks movies.
A self-described picky eater, Shirley’s favorite cuisine is American Southern. She also enjoys Rocky Road ice cream (or Edy’s Smores), and curiously enough, her favorite candy at the moment is Altoids.
As someone who knows the karma program inside and out, Shirley welcomes all of your support-related questions and is always more than happy to provide solutions where needed.
Please take a moment to say hi to Shirley!
I’ve been hacking at various business ideas since I was 16. I’m a full stack developer and love crafting user experiences. I’ve been nose deep in code since I put the legos down, and built several successful businesses in the process. I’ve lost some hair, gained some experience and throughly enjoyed the journey.
