New Feature – Upgraded Task and Event Reminders

We have just overhauled our reminder system for tasks and events allowing you to receive reminders via SMS, Email or Browser Pop-up depending on your preference. You can also add multiple reminders to each event or task.
Be Sure to Set Your Timezone
We have also added timezone support, so make sure to set your correct timezone in your account settings to receive your reminders at the right time.
Types of Reminders
Below are the 3 different ways you can remind yourself about important tasks and events
This will cause a pop-up to appear in your browser at the time you specify. You have to have the KarmaCRM app open for this to work.
You will receive an email with the summary of the event or task.
You will receive a text message to the phone number provided in your account. In order to have Karma send you SMS messages, you need to provide you phone number and phone carrier in your account settings first. Normal text message fees still apply.
Task Reminders
You will only be able to set task reminders after you set a date and a time for the task. Once you do this, the reminders option will appear.
Event Reminders
You can add reminders to any event. Just be sure that if the event has been imported from Google Calendar, that you have not accidentally duplicated your reminders there as well.
